Catechu Gum (Strong-Astringent)

Catmint (Catnip) Herb Nepeta Cataria Calmative, Diaphoretic, Nervine, Sedative
One of the best herbs for skin diseases. Improves the complexion, opens the pores to remove toxins.

Cayenne Pepper Stimulant

Celandine Mild-Astringent

Centauria hb. Vulnerary

Chamomile Anthemis nobilis Flower (Calmative, Nervine, Sedative, Tonic), Herb (Diaphoretic)
Used in cases of nervous hysteria and all nervous complaints in women.

Cheese Plant hb. Demulcent

Chiretta hb. Tonic

Chocolate Root (Strong-Astringent)

Cinnamon Bark (Stimulant)

Cinquefoil Strong-Astringent

Cleavers (Clivers) Herb Galium Aparine Diuretic
Externally it is good for sluggish tumors. As an ointment, good for piles. A tonic and refrigerant. Is cooling in fevers. Used in gravel and gallstones.

Cloves Eugenia caryophyllata Fruit (Stimulant)
The oil of cloves is a remedy for sluggish digestion. Two drops on a teaspoonful of sugar is the best dose. As a cure for toothache it is a specific remedy. The area should be painted with the oil.
