Marigold Tagetes (genus) Exanthematous
This is another remedy that should be in every home. As an ointment it will cure many skin troubles; as a tincture it is far better than iodine to hasten the healing process. The flowers and leaves can be used in salads.

Marsh mallow hb. or rt. Herb or Root (Vulnerary), Ivs or Root (Emollient, Mild-Demulcent), Root (Expectorant)

Mate Tea Ivs (Nerve-Stimulant)

Matico Ivs (Diuretic, Stimulant)

May apple or Mandrake Root (Cathartic, Laxative, Aperient, Purgative)

Mayweed hb. Stimulant

Melia Azedarach Bark (Anthelmintic)

Melissa hb. Refrigerant

Milk thistle Silybum marianum Hepatic
Have protective effects on the liver and improves its function. Used to treat liver cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis (liver inflammation), and gallbladder disorders. Lowers cholesterol levels. Reduces insulin resistance in people with type 2 diabetes who also have cirrhosis. Reduces the growth of cancer cells in breast, cervical, and prostate cancers.

Motherwort hb. Sedative, Stimulant

Mountain Ash Bark (Strong-Astringent)
