The list is long, but I have not practically used more than ten twelve of the below list by myself since I do not prescribe for others and I try to keep the good health.

Augosura Bark (Tonic)

Avens Herb Geum Urbanum Tonic, Styptic
Heart tonic, promotes healing. Tonic and styptic. Used in looseness of bowels, etc.

Bael Aegle marmelos Flower (Calmative, Refrigerant, Depurative), Twigs (Laxative), Fruit (Aperient)
Flower when dried and made to a tea, relieves inner heat and fatigue. Purifies blood. Good against many urinary problems. Twigs larger than the small finger, when simmered in water is a laxative. Thinner twigs, when simmered removes cholesterol from the system. Fruit is a Mild-Aperient that helps bowel action.

Balm Herb Melissa Officinalis Diaphoretic
Cooling in fevers and inducing mild perspiration. Acts on liver, restores the skin, general healer.

Balmony Chelone Glabra Antibiuous, Tonic, Detergent, Herb (Anthelmintic, Tonic)
Anti-bilious, tonic and detergent. Used in cases of chronic constipation, indigestion, jaundice and worms in children. Constipation, jaundice, indigestion.

Balsam or Tolu Beth Root (Expectorant)

Barberry Berberis Vulgaris, Myrica Cerifera Bark (Strong-Astringent, Cathartic, Laxative, Aperient, Purgative), Root & Bark (Tonic)
Stops canker; general tonic. Bark (Gout, arthritis, rheumatism)

Bayberry Ivs (Stimulant, Tonic)

Bearberry (Uva Ursi) Ivs (Strong-Astringent, Diuretic)

Beech Drops Herb Strong-Astringent

Benzoin tincture or gum (Expectorant)

Beth Root (Strong-Astringent)

Betony Herb Nervine

Bilberry Vaccinium myrtillus Ivs (Diuretic)
Improves night vision, can inhibit or reverse eye disorders such as macular degeneration, loweres the risk of problems in heart and cardiovascular system, eyes and cancer. leaves can be used to treat gastrointestinal ailments, applied topically, or made into infusions.

Bitter melon (Karavila) Momordica charantia
Stimulates digestion. helpful in people with sluggish digestion, dyspepsia, and constipation, also a demulcent. useful for preventing and treating malaria. An immunomodulator, improves immune cell function in people with cancer. Cure for diabetes. Red arils of seeds are toxic for children, the fruit is contraindicated during pregnancy.
